Moving from England to Australia to Israel and now America, Kelly is a seasoned reporter and editor with over 15 years experience. She spent 10 years living and working in Israel at ARIEL - the Arts and Letters magazine of Israel’s Foreign Ministry, as a news editor at both RadioWest and Jerusalem Post Radio and as an editor and reporter at The Jerusalem Post newspaper. She also survived and reported on the Al Quaeda terror attack on Israeli tourists at the Paradise Hotel in Mombasa Kenya in 2002.With a background and training originally in theatre, Kelly established and ran Israel’s only professional English language theatre company.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2004, Kelly established a monthly Jewish magazine in Orange County, worked as a senior reporter and editor at The Beverly Hills Courier and now freelances full time for a variety of publications including positions as the travel editor at Gayot.com and editor of the Beverly Hills and Westside Community News Projects. She also contributes to The Jerusalem Post, Israel 21c, The California Literary Review and The Washington National Opera. When not writing or editing she still finds time to direct plays and go to the beach with her dog, Bridget.
